Ray Caldwell
My name is Ray Caldwell, and I am former PGA Tour player but still playing part time on the PGA Champions Tour.
For the last 26 years I have been playing golf as a Pro and teaching in between for the past 17 years. Over my career I have seventeen wins to my credit on 4 different tours including overseas because of a great short game. Chipping and putting are essential to be able to score and has been the reason I have achieved wins on the pro circuit.
I enjoy working with all levels of experience – from beginner to the scratch golfer and especially kids! Offering more insights than other instructors as a semi active player keeps me around the innovative technology and instruction techniques of the game. My goal is just to put more rubber on your tire where you can play the game longer. We are not going to do anything that your body physically will not let you do. One of my students is 97 with an 8 handicap, it is all about understanding what you need to do to score.
Yes, you must have clubs that fit you, period. Since I am 6’5 club fitting has also been particularly important to my game . I would love to talk to you about your equipment needs. Two acclaimed golf club companies that I work with offer my students below store markup pricing.
We will tailor any number of lessons or sessions to fit your needs – just call or email me to get started.
